Local media is in crisis. Towns and cities across America are losing their commercial news oulets, while pink slips are being handed to the reporters who once covered our communities. We cannot afford to lose any more local media.

Community television can help fill the void left by a collapsing media system. But the most prevalent form -- local public access stations (or PEG channels) -- is under attack by the likes of AT&T and Comcast, which are trying to bury community stations on their networks and make them difficult to find.

You Can Help: Protect Community Television

Free Press has joined forces with local governments, community media producers and other organizations that believe local media play a vital role in our democracy. We're working together to urge the FCC to stop efforts by cable and phone giants to squash public access TV, but we need your help.

I think I have discovered this too late, but I think it is important that you still call the FCC.  Call your US Senators and Representatives also.

As you all know, I have written recently about plans to turn control of the internet over to Major Media and Give Various Government Bureaucracies the ability to restrict access.

Now I have heard that the same attempt to stifle Alternative Media is occurring on another front, known variously as Public Access TV, Community TV and PEG.

Senator Rockefeller was caught on camera saying this about the Internet : If the internet was never invented, the corporate media & the Council on Foreign Relations would dominate news and information and alternative media restricted to print would have a far more difficult time counter balancing government propaganda.

Senator Rockefellor was Comfortable enough to say this in front of other Senators.

Is there any doubt that is their felling about the Public Access TV?

The ability to coordinate our activities and inform each other of the Trespasses of our Government has them concerned enough to end it.

Please call you Senators and Representatives and tell them to save Public Access TV and the Internet in their Historical Format.

PLEASE ADVISE YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES THAT ANY ATTEMPT TO ABRIDGE THE INTERNET OR PUBLIC ACCESS TV(PEG) WILL BE SEEN AS A MOVE TO VIOLATE OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS BY SUPPRESSING OUR RIGHTS TO FREE SPEECH, FREE PRESS, FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY.

THE INTERNET AND PUBLIC ACCESS TV HAVE SPAWNED THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT AND REAWAKENED MORALITY WITHIN THE AVERAGE MEMBERS OF THE TWO MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES.

THE POLITICIANS INTENT IN KILLING THE INTERNET AND PUBLIC ACCESS TV IS TO SUBJUGATE WE THE AMERICAN CITIZENS BY PROVIDING US ONLY THE PROPAGANDA THEY WANT US TO SEE.  MAJOR MEDIA IS DREWLING OVER THE POTENTIAL AD REVENUES.

The time is now to make a stand.

Repsectfully,

Your Fellow Sovereign Citizen
