Posting as cmckella, McKellar is a techie working on a workspace-sharing site called loosecubes. Today, though, she's an embedded journalist, supplying everyone from her friends to CNN with information from inside the plane. Through Campbell McKellar's tweets, we learned that there was no hostage situation, and that nobody was trying to hijack the plane.

In the face of tight-lipped officials, all it takes is one Twitter account to keep a story going.
