Can The Tea Party Save The American Political System?

Prior to the November 2, 2010 the largest primary defeat of the Democrats in several decades had been yet to repeat itself, many actually blamed the Tea Party instead of complimenting them for having a major influence over the election results. It was expected that Democrats and liberals would attack the Tea Party with every false accusation they could pull out of their Saul Alinsky strategy to blame their defeat upon. I guess it didn’t matter to them that the Tea Party was merely calling upon the federal government to downsize, control their spending, stop the insanity of tax hikes, and to become Constitutionally accountable. What was even more perplexing though was the reaction of the Republican establishment to the Tea Party. They wanted to not only absorb the political movement, but to soften their conservative stance to a moderate position. This would have defeated the entire purpose of the Tea Party to begin with!

As Nevada Senator Harry Reid laughably blamed the Tea Party for the extreme position of actually calling upon the federal government to balance the budget and not to increase the debt limit, the Republican establishment as well seemed indifferent to the conservative cause. Such moderate Republicans as Mitch Daniels, John McCain, and Orin Hatch have actually been at odds with the conservative vote and even with the Tea Party. Mitch Daniels actually endorsed Richard Lugor, a Democrat Senator of Indiana, who hadn’t even lived in the state he represented for the last 35 years. Even Olympia Snow of Maine, slated to retire, will likely throw here election funds to other than conservative colleagues.

All in all the moderate, sold out, Republicans, in power for a long time are threatened by the Tea Party and trying to get them to blend into the fold. If that happens you will see the purest and most Constitutional political movement in US history compromised. The conservative cause is much better served with a movement like the Tea Party, independent of the Capitol Hill mutual admiration society that has gotten this country into a stifling deficit that threatens to crash the US dollar. As the left vilifies the Tea Party for its political positions, they conveniently ignore the fact that the Tea Party speaks for all Americans who want representative government that complies with its own Constitution and reflects the intentions of our forefathers. Why is this such a reprehensible stance?

I’ll tell you why the left, the liberals, the collectivists, the socialists, the Marxists, and the Democrats have demonized the Tea Party. They have descended upon this movement because it threatens their power base, it calls upon them to legitimize their tactics of lies, intimidation, and distraction over a floundering economy brought about by their failed policies. You can’t out reason your opponent when they speak the truth and you don’t because you have something to hide, and this is precisely what the Democrats have to deal with. Their failures can only be hidden under a torrent of misdirection, smoke and mirrors, and false accusations using narratives and talking points to cloud the issues. Let’s talk about Sandra Fluke! Let’s all mourn Trayvon Martin and get that no good racist! The Occupy Movement stresses the failure of government for not covering student loans! All these widely publicized and yet empty arguments are designed to distract the public from the true impotence of the Democratic party.

Many would say that in 2004 the Democratic party was finally co-opted completely by the left. Any semblance of objectivity and true concern for American society was down on the list of priorities of the Democrats once Joe Lieberman was ousted from the party and forced to run on an independent ticket. It was from that point that the complete directive of the Democrats became being in power and remaining in power no matter the cost to American society. They would compromise a sound economy and disrupt commerce markets in order to attain ruling class status through distribution of wealth and class warfare tactics. The economy would be intentionally destroyed using Cloward and Piven strategy in order to obtain the greatest number of votes from those who would happily become wards of the state at the expense of destroying the American middle class.

Unless stopped. Unless convicted. Unless either the judiciary or the American people do their job to remove the Obama administration, America as it was conceived, intended, and built for two centuries will fall to the ones who deviously schemed to bring down a nation that led the world in innovation and social conscience. A land that emerged in record time to save the world twice in one century from global tyranny will become the victim of the very evil it liberated mankind from. Once under the aegis of a compassionate Christian doctrine the influence of America shall be infinitely missed among her neighbors and allies.

The Tea Party is more than the irrelevant revisionism that the self deluded progressives here in America have labeled it to be. There could be no finer example of political direction than to hold true to the values of our forefathers who foresaw the overreach of big government and how it could stifle the nation’s economy. We as Americans deserve to prosper as a result of the fruits of our labor without the intrusion of big government seeking to impose a utopia for all in totalitarian fashion. Each individual should be rewarded individually based upon his own merits of hard work and resourcefulness. To allow the big government advocated by Democratic policy to strangle that basic precept of liberty is to allow America to go the way of every unjust and impoverished Communist regime that has spattered the pages of history with the blood of their peasants.
