The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Canadian Charge d'affairs to tell him to quit medling in Iranian politics.

Canada was one of many countries called to be told to quit meddling in Iranian internal affairs.

Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said that Canada would not remain quiet on the political situation in Iran.  Canada will continue and speak up for Human Rights in Iran.

Canada was forceful by decrying Iranian media reports that reported Ahmedinejad winning by 2-1.

Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said Canada will not remain silent on the political situation in Iran after Tehran added Canada to a list of countries that it says is meddling in its internal affairs.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Canada's chargé d'affaires in Tehran to a meeting on Thursday, reportedly complaining that Canada has been spouting meddlesome comments and decrying media coverage of the outcome of Friday's presidential election that showed President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad winning by a 2-to-1 margin.

"He was told the same thing that every other chargé has been told: 'Stay out of our politics,'" Cannon told CBC News. "And we will not. We will continue to promote democracy. We will continue to challenge Iran on human rights.

I have to wonder how I would feel if my neighbour came to my house and told me how to live.

You neighbour does it all the time, in form of Police and Law, should you break the rules. As long as all is fine no one has to worry.

I keep telling my Neighbour off when they pollute the environment even if on their property, because I care about the environment and future generations ability to live.

So I tell my neighbours of when they pollute. Some hate me for it and other started changing their habits.

I guess we all live in a community and have  find a common thread.  We somehow have to find a way to get along with each other.  Sometimes it.s in the way it.s being said.  I certainly don't want those redneck Albertans to hate me.  Kidding.:)
