Canada's Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean tours Haitian slum
Barry Artiste Op/Ed
Canada's Governor General tread where even Haitian Police feared to tread, the notorious Port Au Prince Slums, certainly refreshing to see someone like our Governor General take an interest in the place of her birth and as a role model for Haitians to follow. Our Governor General, besides being a Smoking Hot Babe, is no fluff figurehead who represents our Queen Elizabeth, Michaelle is a hands on Governor General, much like previous Old Farts who customarily held this position, usually ex military types. Michaelle certainly will disarm the most criminal types she is sure to encounter with her persona and charm. Something Canada sorely needs in this decade, and she is certainly not hard on the eyes either to look at.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti -- Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean toured a Haitian slum that she called an inspiration for Canada's own struggling communities, from the Inuit north to big cities grappling with gang violence.
She walked through the bustling streets of a rough-and-tumble Port-au-Prince neighbourhood on Saturday that until recently was a no-go zone even for the Haitian police.
