Candi Holyfield Accuses Husband, Evander Holyfield, of Abuse
Candi Holyfield, the wife of former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, filed for a protective order against her husband last week citing abuse. The case was on February 3 in Fayette County, Georgia, Supreme Court listed as "Family Violence Ex Parte Protective Order."
47-year-old Holyfield is a four-time heavyweight boxing champion with winnings upwards of $200 million.
The court documents give little detail but allege to violent domestic acts including choking, hitting and throwing a bottle of water at Candi.
Holyfield has been swamped in legal matters in recent years ranging from his $10 million home going into foreclosure to being sued for child support by Toi Irvin, the mother of his 10-year-old son, and $550,000 in unpaid debt for services by a Utah landscaping firm.

My advise to Mrs. Holyfield is to get out of that relationship - he has done it before, more than once, he will do it again! You were very brave to take the steps that you did and don't feel ashame, it's not your fault. Trust in God and He will see you through. He needs to take his own advice, put God first, because if he did, there would be no abuse! Take care of yourself and those two lovely angels and don't be scared of doing what you believe is right - these people in the spotlight seems to believe that money is everything. Be blessed!
