Candylicious: World's Largest Candy Store Open In Dubai

Already boasting the world's tallest building Burj Dubai Tower and the world's largest shopping mall, Dubai has taken the bigger-is-better concept to the next level as it is now home to the world's biggest candy store.

Named Candylicious, the largest confectionery store in the world was lunched at the Dubai Mall yesterday. Candylicious spans more than 10,000 square feet, including elaborate features such as a 10-meter-tall singing chocolate tree decorated with lollipop and the Candylicious aeroplane. Though just opened, Candylicious is already planning to open a second store in Singapore early next year.

Products in the store are sourced from around the world, including Madelaine Chocolates, Rock Candy from Squire Boone Village, handmade candy from Miss Sweetie, Ribbles and Fabrols from Gina Michaels, Hershey Kisses and chocolate bars, a private line of gourmet chocolates from Vosges Haut-Chocolat, novelty M&M’s, every flavour of lollipops, gummy bears, gummy worms, peach rings, cola bottles, and jelly beans, toasted popcorn flavored jelly beans.

Candylicious is expecting to have 2,000 visitors on weekdays and 7,000 on weekends, and the group projects' annual sales is expected to be $10m.
