I have just arrived on scene at the Albion side and got a couple of photos which I will have to post later.  No further  update available at this time apart from rescue boats working as we speak.

FORT LANGLEY, B.C. — Langley RCMP have identified a man who was killed Friday when the vehicle he was in plunged off a dock into B.C.'s Fraser River.

Roger Cloutier, 49, of Langley was the lone occupant of the vehicle that went off a government dock into about 10 metres of water around noon near the Albion ferry terminal.

A coast guard hovercraft and divers responded, and pulled the man's body from the vehicle approximately one hour later.

"We have now recovered one male in his late 40s from the vehicle," Const. Holly Marks said in an interview.

"We're still interviewing witnesses and we'll probably have to do a mechanical inspection of the vehicle, but at this point we don't have any knowledge about how the vehicle ended up going off the end."

An autopsy will be performed by the B.C. Coroners Service.

The vehicle, a 1984 Pontiac Firebird, has been recovered from the water.
