FEDERAL AND MINNESOTA CARBON TAX - YOUR UTILITY BILL ON AN AVERAGE HOME WILL GO UP ANOTHER 50-100 DOLLARS PER MONTH The last time I heard the statistic, I believe that 48% of the average Minnesotan's income was going toward taxes and government "user fees" aka "taxes".
It comes as no surprise that politicians want more money for government but they realize that problems will occur when the average citizen realizes that more than half of their income is going to taxes and user fee taxes. So how do you increase taxation without it directly coming from the average citizen's pocket... You charge utility fees a CARBON TAX.

i dont know when you would give a thumbs down, given your comment.
I am against the carbon tax for the simple reason that it is just another tax.
They have enough money, they just need to reprioritize stuff.
