Casey Anthony's defense team: Caylee is dead

Casey Anthony may already have cracked and told her legal defense team the facts surrounding Caylee Anthony's death and at least part of the truth about what happened.   I have been following this case somewhat, possibly not as closely as some, but it does seem to me that Casey Anthony has NOT maintained that her child is still alive - in some time.  I have not heard her say it or plead with any supposed kidnappers or appeal to the public for her child's safe return.

I also believe that Cindy Anthony is and has been a major hindrance to the case over all and is not serving her daughters defense very well.  And while Casey Anthony is responsible for their own journey in live, I can't help but note that Cindy Anthony is controlling and over bearing.  She has probably manipulated and administered her family with  a border line personality disordered passion.

Cindy Anthony took over and took Caylee away from Casey .... from within minutes after the birth.  It's hardly a surprise that the mother and daughter bond between Casey and Caylee may have weakened (into more of a sibling rivalry subjective bond). 

It seems to me that Casey Anthony is afraid of her mother, much like a child is afraid of displeasing a parent.  Consider the fact that Casey Anthony is only 22 years old and may have been suffering from arrested development due to her controlling and over bearing mother.  Casey Anthony was also 100% dependent on her parents financially.  Not just for herself but also for her daughter Caylee.  That is undue influence right there.

From what I glean from news reports, Casey Anthony was being pressured, harassed and berated by her mother (Cindy) for not working and getting out on her own.  Casey Anthony has never been out on her own.  She may may be suffering from a dependent personality disorder. 

Casey Anthony may never have intended to kill the child or to conceal the fact that she did - till her mother (Cindy) was in her face demanding to know the truth.  That is when she made up the (improvised) Zeneida Gonzales Nanny kidnap story.  It got her mother's (Cindy) anger and ire off her (Casey) back and onto someone else.  And it worked like a charm.  Casey Anthony may have been afraid to come forward while under the influence of her family, especially her mother (Cindy Anthony).

Casey Anthony probably made a deal to break it to the public .... till she is safely behind bars and away from the reach, anger and influence of her own mother.  In short, she does not want to have to face her mother with the truth. 

I would not be surprised to see this go into a Mommy Dearest (Cindy Anthony) defense.

This is so sad - what an awful story.

is this a fact!!!!! i haven't heard anything about this on the news....  My husband & I  have been watching this on Nancy Grace, since this story came out. We believe that Casey did harm Caylee based on every lie she told, text message her own family & friends, this girl has some big time issues.=(  What's going to happen to the Anthony family once it does come out the Caylee is no longer here on earth, but is her mother Cindy going to say!!!

I do believe what we heard from Cindy in the beginning was her true feelings & fear "that dam smell in the car" it smells like a dam dead body was in the car", my daughter steals & lies   etc etc...

she knows what her daughter is like, we do feel for her, but before Cindy get's caught up in her daughters lies, we really hope that realilty hits her soon, before she herself ends up in prison..

Lets hope and pray that caley's soul rests in peace and that God does'nt let this happen to any other child.

Would someone please explain why it would take you a month to report your child missing?

What would you be hiding if you didn't immediatly go for help? Why wouldn't you go to the police, your parents, friends, anyone to tell and get help.

A poor defenseless baby out there, being tossed from this person to that person, in the way, a hindrence to her mother,  a hassel to deal with, not being wanted.........and not knowing that her "mom" didn't care about her, let alone love her.

There is nothing that Casey said that is true. She has lied about this whole entire event. I feel that in her sick mind she actually thought she could kill her child to get her out of her life so she could be free, and acutally thought she could get away with it. This was planned, how she must have thought this out every day and night, like it was a play she was writing but in acutality, it was the killing of her own little child. The chloroform, the shovel, the bag, looking for a place to bury the body where no one could find her. Not helping with the search even after she was caught, what difference does it make now. Tell where she is.

This baby didn't deserve this. She didn't ask to be born.

The only thing that makes me feel better about this is knowing that she is in a much better place, where angels are taking care of her now. Where she is loved...........

Casey, I hope you get Old Sparky, you don't deserve to die peacefully with a shot, you need to suffer just like you did to your baby girl. An eye for an eye........

Cindy, what goes round comes round.........Karma..........whether your genes passed this sickness on to your daughter, you show all the signs of a habitual liar also. A daughter should never be afraid of her mother.........you now will suffer because of the loss of your grandchild.

George, denial does you no good. To remain healthy you need to realize you grandchild is gone and so is your daughter. You seem to be a good man and caught in the middle of a horrible ordeal.

Lee, be greatful your sister will no longer hurt anyone else.

My daughter is 28 and cannot have children. We are sad but accept this. On my computer I have a picture of her when she was 2 and sitting at the dinner table with her Big Bird birthday cake and the biggest smile on her face as she is getting ready to blow out the candles. I cry when I look at it and think of Caylee............I just can't imagine how a mother can take the life of her own baby.

I agree that the Casey has problems with her mom and felt obligated to take care of Caylee when she was a baby herself.  I think she should have given her baby to her mom to raise, but she wanted to use the power of that over her mom to manipulate everyone and get money. She probably left her in the car while she was partying and used the chloroform to keep her asleep while she was in the bars, she either died from  that  or  it  got  too  hot  in  the  car???   She  is  still guilty  of murder and only God knows and Casey and Caylee.  God Bless/In Christ Pam

I just wish this would all be over. I don't want to sound heartless, but I cannot stand all the media attention that this story has received. They have been preying on this story for months. People get killed every day, people go to jail for it every day. Orlando is one of the worst places for murders. It is all a bit like a circus freak show. Please just move on to something remotely newsworthy.

Yes Casey Anthony is a pitaful soul. Something cant be right with the girl upstairs to even think about doping up her child so she can party.  I mean who really does that. I followed this case from the beginning and since day one i knew what it was.  That girl is ate up with guilt and sooner or later she will break down. I just know she is.  Why she did what she did know one will probably know  the whole truth but at least we do know some of the truth and her body will be laid to rest the appropiate way.  Knowing that animals scattered her daughters bones across the woods and that she put her there is enough to drive the crazy, selfish, derranged, monster into telling the trunth, because now we all now that Caylee is dead and found down the street from her house.  That just bothers me even having to type that.  I just want to know the truth. WHY? HOW?  

As a Mom and now a grandmother it is so hard to understand how a Mom could put their child in a trunk of a car. Close the lid and go out partying. No regard whatsoever for the little one. Thinking of yourself only. How evil and cold. Now behind bars she seems like a selfish little spoiled brat. Yelling at her parents and still thinking of how this has ruined her life. Maybe Casey was not cut out  for motherhood. Fair enough. But murder is not an option. God Bless this precious child.
