Homestead School Employee Accused Of Giving Students Wine, Offering Sex

Cassandra Sproch, 42-year-old dance teacher from Pittsburgh, is accused of serving wine and offering sex to 2 teenagers. Cassandra Sproch allegedly touched a 15-year-old boy's crotch, and offered to have sex with a 16-year-old boy.

According to the criminal complaint, Cassandra Sproch picked up 3 teens, two boys and a girl, to Sproch's home to play with her 14-year-old son.

Sproch made dinner that night. During the dinner, she aggressively encouraged them to drink. Her son and one of the boys drank while others declined.

She flirted with one of the boys and touched his crotch, but he refused her advances. Later she took the other boy into her bedroom, where the teens later found him pinned against a wall, and Sproch was kissing him. According to the affidavit, Sproch offered to have sex with the teenager but he resisted.

The woman's son and the 15-year-old boy pulled the 16-year-old from the room, and all three boys left the house for several hours.

All eventually returned and spent the night at the house before Ms. Sproch drove them home the next morning.

Ms. Sproch's son, who splits time between his parents' homes, told his father about the incident.

In a police interview, Sproch claimed she was drunk and didn't remember the details of the incident.

Before the incident, Sproch's services at Propel Homestead was terminated last month because "she did something inconsistent with the contract we had with her," said Jeremy Resnick, executive director of Propel Schools. Cassandra Sproch was indicted last year for using credit cards in another person's name.

Her preliminary hearing will be held on Dec. 15, 2:30 pm.
