This is a sensational little bit about cats with thumbs. I love cats. They lived in my house because I had cat door. I didn’t own them, but they showed up at will. They belonged to neighbors who fed them, and they came over to talk.

One was named Fang, another, Mr. Bear, and another Sing-Sing.

Fang owned the front porch and a wicker chair. Mr. Bear, a manx, came for naps in the sun. Sing-Sing was crazy and jumped from the third floor of the Victorian House and nearly died several times.

This is the brilliant new Cravendale cat advert which has got everyone asking: What if cats had thumbs?

The ad, featuring the voice of Rocky Horror Picture Show star Tim Curry, features a man pondering what life would be like if cats had thumbs and recruited an army of clever cats to take over the worlds Cravendale supply.

The lead cat in the advert, Bertrum, a shrewd and wiley creature intent on world domination, has been an active user of social networks for some time.

The advert is part of a new Cravendale campaign, launched today in conjunction with The Daily Mirror's website, Mirror.co.uk, to find the UK’s trickiest cat with thumbs.

So if your cat has amazing dexterity or possesses the power to [bust] open bread bins, creep into cupboards or find their way into the fridge, then you could win £1,000.
