Caylee Anthony
Somewhere out there
Caylee Anthony was laughing and doing her best to be the little girl that she was. She played with her mother, her grandmother, and grandfather and saw her father too. She was the center of their attention, sometimes.
Sometimes, their eyes turned away and Caylee was in danger.
Endangerment was not something Caylee could control. It was something inflicted upon her. Who did it?
One person was responsible for Caylee, the person to which Caylee’s life was assigned and that was her mother. Caylee died. Her mother was in charge – not her grandparents, not her father, but her mother.
A jury could not find her mother guilty of murdering Caylee because the prosecution and law enforcement let her down, like her mother.
We the people let Caylee down today because her murderer walks free to party again, I suppose.
Is that justice? I don’t think so.
Poor Caylee.
“Somewhere Out There
written by James Horner, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil
Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true”

Dreams were spoiled and dreams won't come true.

Little late to this YJ ?
When a criminal case gets tried in the news media instead of a courtroom, this general media reaction is what will happen.
Caylee's death ( and a sorted history of many, many similar cases ) shows how perfectly imperfect our supposed balanced and fair justice system actually works.
When people are found guilty of murders they did not commit, or actual murderers walk free, it is a reflection of this society, form of government, rule of law and justice system.
What are the answers then ? Whats a 'perfect legal system' ?
