CBS Snubs Barr [Personal Reflection]

"The Early Show" which is one of the programmes of CBS has snubbed Libertarian Presidential Candidate Bob Barr. In the election segment, Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton were in the news as well as John Mc Cain and his possible Vice Presidential Running Mates. Bob Barr was not mentioned in the news segment. While it is easy to make accusations of the Libertarian Party being unable to win, the mainstream networks with their decision to snub Barr proves that they are not promoting freedom. The same applies to the Electoral Commissions and the system inherent in America. The Republicans and Democrats have no authority to talk about exporting democracy when it does not practice it at home.

Interesting. Are there any legal obligations in the US for networks to report, or devote specific amounts of airtime to third-party candidates?

AlvarezGalloso

Rachel: Thank You for your comments and excellent questions. At the present time, I do not know of any legal obligations to devote time to alternative party candidates.
