CBSE Chennai region 10th results 2011 to be declared today
The Indian Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the Chennai region 10th class results on May 31, 2011 at its official website http://cbseresults.nic.in.
But students of other regions like Delhi, Allahabad, Chennai, Ajmer, Guwahati and Panchkula will have to wait for a few more days. According to sources, the result could be announced on June 2, 2011.
The results of the Chennai region also will be published on the same day. The Chennai region covers Maharashtra, Goa, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu and Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka.
Beginning from this year, the class X students will be awarded GRADES from A1 TO E2. For more details on grading, click here.
Actually the 10th class results were to be announced in the first week of June, but the officials of the CBSE Board says that the result will be declared as scheduled.
Officials of the CBSE admit that the announcement of results has been delayed, but refuse to comment on the issue. Some sources said, the officials blame the introduction of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation this year for the results to be delayed.
