  This is amazing.  The

United States, every

country, needs a

leader like this.

"""

Kim wrote six full operas in two years, "all of which are better than any in the history of music," according to his official biography.

Kim's official biography also claims that he wrote 1,500 books during his time at Kim Sung Il University, from where he graduated in 1964."""

The lies told by Obama outnumber the books written by Kim.Kim has refused to be bullied by the empire and its stooge in the Korean peninsula,South Korea, and that is why he is incredible like Hugo Chavez and Ahmedinejad.

Interesting 158, Of course this information has been verified_correct? lol

lol t k kidwai, None of the three leaders you mention are exactly friends with the USA, and may even view us as an 'empire'.

Americas image abroad is a quite different one than how Americans view themselves. Maybe it might help for you to do a story on just exactly America got such an image in the world without Americans knowing or understanding it.

The actions of our CIA and American Industrial Complex in the 20th century seemed to have left a very bad taste in the mouths of many other countries around the globe. Americans in general, are not aware of this specific phenomenon.

1  Good comment. Any country has several images depending on the worldview of who is viewing it.
No such view is 100% CORRECT,

I do not much like Obama but Kim is much worse.

The 1.There are numerous authors who have written on the mother of all problems, the US foreign policy.Of late,William Blum's "Killing Hopes" gives a detailed account of US intervention in Europe,Latin America and Asia.Do read that book.Noam Chomsky,Howard Zinn,Michael Moore,Gary Kah and John Perkins are few more who have written extensively on US imperial designs.A well known Indian writer,Arundhati Roy,summed up beautifully:Americans(establishment)shouldn't ask why people hate us,they should ask why people don't hate us more?

Blame the US is not the answer to everything.

They said similar things in Romania about Ceaoucescu. He was supposedly the inventor of just about everything. This is called a cult of personality. All a load of lies, nothing more.

True, and very sad.

Despite strong leftist leanings I always despise personality cult.Whatever may be one's worldview ,but a reasonable portion of blame has to be laid at the doors of US foreign policy formulators. There is no denying this fact.Ostrich like approach won't lead us anywhere.Isn't George Bush a war criminal?Hitler must be turning in his grave.Democracy, respect for human rights, freedom and liberty and equality and similar rhetorics would have turned him an all time hero.

I am a centrist and I do not like most of US policy, domestic or foreign.  I did not like Bush, Clinton, do not like Obama. If Bush is a war criminal, so is congress, Hamas, Assad, many others. The US has many faults but it is near the top of the list on human rights.

The question is not "which country" but "who in which country." There are people in USA who are very much against human rights and individual freedoms, and these people are also the ones who most loudly claim to be American patriots. Whereas the individual freedoms and human rights are most present in parts of America, such as California and New York City, that are most under attack by these supposed patriots.

In Iran, the exponents of human rights and individual freedoms are likewise the left-leaning or moderate elements, with the right-wing Ahmadinejad regime being the worst abusers.

In North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela, the worst abusers are the Stalinists.

The same people who in the Soviet Union were Stalinist hardliners - the military, the countryside, the authoritarian minds - in America tend to become hard-right. Whereas the pro-West constituencies in the Soviet Union - the highly educated, the cities, the social liberals - in America tend to be Democratic, Independent or Green.

As you have said, blaming America is not the solution to every problem. A more intelligent solution is empowering the better elements in each country, including but not exclusive to the United States.

If the US wasn't top dog some other country would be. All nations exert influence according to their ability to enforce it politically and economically. For the moment be grateful it is the US. In another time it may very well be a country who's guiding principles don't include democracy and individual freedoms.
