Well Sikh Separatists "True to their Word" display Terrorist Martyrs "Front and Centre" on Saturdays Vaisakhi Parade, flouting Canadian Laws all in the name of Multiculturalism for them, and refusing to assimilate even one Iota with Canadian Culture in a Clash of Cultures which may come to a head in the coming weeks.  Certainly those fleeing a Repressive Culture for the safe democratic shores of Canada, wish to intergrate a repressive culture they fled from into Canadian Society, smacks of " Did WE Lose a WAR??  Yes, we certainly have, it is called a Canadian Identity, when one Culture use the Mantle of Multiculturalism for their own gains.  It should be noted this festival was well attended by over a 100,000 Sikhs and BC Residents, 99% of whom were oblivious to this Atrocity against Canadian Anti Terror Laws, and for good reason, over 99,999 out of a 100,000 Celebrants chose to ignore those who wish to Bring their Terrorist Martydome to our shores,  in what seems to be a "Direct Slap in the Face" to those very few who favour terrorism, over the rest of Celebrants who just wanted to enjoy a wonderful ancient celebration welcomed into Canadian Culture of food, dance and song, the way Multiculturalism and Assimilation is meant to be.

Though the Mayor did not mingle centre stage at the celebrations, over what the RCMP feel were overt threats to her safety, she did appear along the fringe route greeting her celebrants and constituents.

In stark contrast to last years Celebrations where Politicians of every Political stripe were out there Glad Handing for the ethnic vote, only to realise the hands they were shaking most likely were the Terrorist Organizers themselves were obviously "Missing" from these Celebrations Saturday, and All Politicans , being Politicians had a host of excuses for not attending a somewhat past embarrassing situation.  Political excuse made publicly ranged from , Weddings, Funerals, Out of Town etc.... Most likely Political Excuse is their  'Disco Dance Shoes" were out for some "Loafer Lightening and Heel Repair".  This reasoning, well based on how much "Disco Dancing" they did last year in explaining their actions to the media.

As for me who attended to see friends at the booths at the festival briefly, cause let's face it, if there is food, good people and music, I am so There!!   As for Terrorist Celebrants, there is a thing called Karma, and undoubtedly Karma will be taking a Big Chunk outta yer Arse one day !!

Few politicians, a lot of politicsControversy over Sikh separatist floats and pictures of 'martyrs' have caused most politicians to avoid the Vaisakhi parade in Surrey this yearKim Bolan, The Vancouver SunPublished: Saturday, April 12, 2008

METRO VANCOUVER - Tens of thousands lined the streets of Surrey today to mark Vaisakhi, the holiest day on the Sikh calendar.

Despite the controversy over the display of photos of assassins as martyrs, most in the crowd were just there to enjoy the free food, the music and the community spirit.

Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts spent hours walking along the parade route, greeting families happy to see their city council out for the event.Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts spent hours walking along the parade route, greeting families happy to see their city council out for the event. But Watts did have a large contingent of uniformed RCMP officers nearby after she criticized parade organizers over their refusal to remove the controversial images glorifying assassins and dead leaders of the Babbar Khalsa and International Sikh Youth Federation, both banned terrorist groups.Watts steered clear of the official outdoor stage on the grounds of Dasmesh Darbar temple, from where the parade began. In front of the stage was a large poster saying "we salute our great martyrs" and then a picture of one of Indira Gandhi's assassins underneath.Several of the parade floats touted the need for Khalistan, a mythical nation Sikh separatists want carved from Punjab.
