The suspected gunman in the Chandler Fashion Center has been identified as Daniel Munoz Perez. Daniel Perez is wanted for the attempted murder of a police officer, CNN is reporting. CNN is also reporting that shots were just fired in the mall.

Police are evacuating the Chandler Center Fashion Center in Arizona after a gunman fired shots at police and ran into the mall according to local news reports.

According to Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo, an armed robbery occurred nearby and the suspect went to the mall located at Chandler Boulevard and Loop 101.

He was pursued by undercover officers and was confronted outside the mall. Favazzo said the suspect fired shots at officers, but no officers were injured. He did not know if officers fired at the suspect.

The Chandler Fashion Center is now on lockdown.
