Dear Babel-Fish

This government will never stop fighting for ordinary people in these extraordinary times.

Today I have reshaped the government around three clear priorities - cleaning up politics, getting through this downturn fairly and giving people greater control over their public services.

We need a clean up of our politics in this country. Politicians must serve the public, and not themselves.  We will act quickly to  bring in an independent regulator to scrutinise the behaviour of our MPs.  We will introduce a tough, legally binding code of conduct for MPs.  In addition every single expense claim made by MPs of all parties over the last four years will be scrutinised by an independent audit panel.  But we must go further and look at issues about how we elect our MPs and how we open up all public bodies to the closest public scrutiny.

We will continue to intervene decisively on the economy.  When people are suffering you cannot have a "do nothing" approach to the recession.  You cannot cut your way out of recession, you can only grow your way out.  And in the coming weeks we will outline our plan to build Britain's future.  A plan for building new sources of growth, new jobs, new homes and new infrastructure.

Finally, we can only build Britain's future if we have not only a strong economy but good public services that can meet the challenges of the future.  So the third leg of our strategy for building Britain's future is the next stage of reform in public services, a reform driven by one central principle that everyone and not a privileged few have a fair chance to succeed.  And this will depend crucially on putting much greater power in the hands of patients and parents.

I have chosen a determined and strong Cabinet that will fight hard for British people in these difficult times and deliver upon these three crucial priorities.

I would be interested in hearing your views on these priorities and the changes we have made.

Dear Gordon,

Thank you for informing me on the changes you have made to stop the present fraud within your government.

Its apparent that many of the politicians the British public voted for are not honest. I see that many ministers have resigned. What worries me is those that had defrauded the public purse have not been completely sacked and then banned from politics forever. That you have not declared an election. Hopefully you are not expecting the British public to forget the dishonesty and because of your actions today, the whole issue will be swept under the carpet?

Thank you also in showing your vision of Britain's future, I am really worried that Britain will lose its sovereignty and just become a state under EU rule. I feel that its time to have a referendum concerning Britain's membership of EU.

You see its not only the dishonesty of MP's that's a concern it's also the problem of overriding the real wishes of the citizens by following a political objective of handing over control of United Kingdom to EU. It's actual considered as being traitorous by most of the British Public. I gather the political pickings are more lucrative in Brussels concerning allowances? At a guess there is not much control and audit at present in Brussels?

I know you are a very good economist and I for one believe your plan will work, but your political parties administration, prior to you taking the seat of power. Has not been very patriotic towards the citizens of United Kingdom and there have been many lies, plus proof of corruption within Tony Blair's administration at number 10. (cash for honors).  Plus of course your governments to close ties with George Bush oil pipe wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Leads to an important question can we the public trust the Labour Party?????

I seriously feel that your party will lose the next election and any long term plans will only be continued if the next administration allows them to be.

Best Wishes

Prime Minister Brown of Britain, has been dealt a devastating blow by having five Cabinet Ministers resign.

Brown vows that he will hang in there and not walk away.  Most pundits believe that his tenure in government will be over before the end of the weekend.
