Hugo Chavez is adding plenty of fuel to the Political crisis in Honduras and may be ready to strike the match.

"Running in Honduras is a coup. It is the bourgeoisie, an alliance of bourgeois reactionary forces that are trying to slow change and only convene a referendum," he stated yesterday in a meeting with Venezuelan youth.

He went on to describe the situation in Honduras as a “Revolution” and compared it to the Coup attempt against him in 2002.

Further, in an Official communiqué of the Government of the Bolivarian Alliance(ALBA)stated that;

Governments of member countries of ALBA - TCP, to learn about the serious allegations of destabilization and coup attempt made on the legitimate President of the Republic of Honduras, we declare that we will mobilize alongside the decent people of Honduras, before any attempt to oligarchy break the constitutional order and democratic Republic of the Central American sister.

The streets of the Capitol were quiet last night with the Honduran Military being dispersed throughout the city. Long lines at banks, fuel stations and grocery stores as people are stocking up for fear of a Siege on the Capitol.
