2008-09-11 00:38:04 - CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is dismissing accusations aired in a Miami courtroom as a «show» as U.S. authorities try a man on charges of acting as an illegal agent for Venezuela. Chavez says the trial is an example of how «the U.S. empire is attacking Venezuela again. Chavez spokes in a televised speech on Wednesday after a prosecution witness in Miami testified that the president had ordered the head of Venezuela's intelligence agency to oversee the handling of an international cash scandal.  Venezuelan businessman Franklin Duran is charged with acting as an unregistered agent for Venezuela in a scheme to conceal the source of US$800,000 in political cash flown into Argentina in a suitcase last year.
