Chelsea Clinton To Marry Longtime Fiancé Marc Mezvinsky

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton, is set to marry a longtime boyfriend and fiancé Marc Mezvinsky. The status of Mezvinsky's future in-laws may be a little intimidating to deal with, but Chelsea Clinton is not marrying into a simple family either. Mezvinsky's father Edward Mezvinsky is a former U.S. Congressman and his mother Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky is a former NBC reporter and House Representative. Marc Mezvinsky graduated from Stanford University and is currently working as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs. Chelsea and Marc have known each other since they were teenagers. The two have engaged in November and are set to marry next summer.

On Friday, the couple announced their engagement via an email addressed to friends:

"We're sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc."
