At a Chicago factory, an explosion this morning has injured two people, one seriously, and police and fire crews are currently on scene surveying the damage. They are concerned about possible hazardous chemicals leaking from the factory, as pictures show parts of the roof missing and parts of the factory damaged by fire.

Police Officer Robert Perez says the explosion happened just before 9 a.m. on Friday. He didn't have further details.

The explosion on the West Side sent debris hundreds of feet in to the air, and seems to have been caused by a mixture of chemicals.
