Chief Justice John Roberts Loves the Law More Than Politics!

I was blown away watching Chief Justice John Robert's confirmation hearings.  I'd never observed a person articulate legal concepts and precedents, with such fluidity and skill.  It increased my respect for Bush, that his nominee was astoundingly qualified!  It made me believe that the days of America's greatness might not be over . . .

Then I heard that, unlike Romney who declared himself a "severe" conservative, John Roberts actually is a severe conservative; to the extent that, in some people's eyes, he borders on being a Nazi . . .

I was disappointed and almost frightened by the warring contrast of a man who probably does not share any of my political beliefs, but who shares my love of the law, seemingly to a degree that guides a well trained mind down the path of reason — to legal truth.

Today John Roberts sided with liberal justices, to uphold the Affordable Care Act, championed by a liberal president who, as a senator, did not vote for his confirmation.  Demonstrating what I sensed when I saw his masterful display of legal acumen, that he's a true jurist.  John Roberts loves the law more than politics.

John Roberts is what the Founding Fathers contemplated in designing this Nation, individuals in public service, who are true to their public roles, even when it contradicts their personal interests.  This is the formula that enables the Founding Father's perfect idea, to manifest as an exceptional Nation . . .

Sorry Pal, you're got it mixed up. Justice Roberts loves politics not the law. If he had interpreted the law according to the US Constitution the Affordable Healthcare Act would never have been approved. Your article shows you have no comprehension of the law especially the Constitution. The aim of the forefathers was to limit government and allow free choice among citizens. This decision that Roberts made was purely political Get you facts straight before writing an article. This why America is in trouble. The people are too stupid to even recognize what their rights and the US Constitution were all about!

If it was politics, why didn't he side with the conservatives?  He is, after all, a conservative!  Also, you're not just saying I don't know anything about the law and the Constitution, you're also saying that a majority of the justices, including the Chief Justice, don't know anything about the law and the Constitution . . .
