There are a lot of unanswered questions in the drowning death of a one-year-old boy. The boy was found in a pool at a licensed daycare. A three-year-old child was also found in the pool, but he is now in good condition.

Marisela's Family Daycare has been ordered to stop all childcare activity until the investigation ends, and there are a lot of questions detectives are trying to find answers to. Just after 3 p.m., emergency crews were called to a North Las Vegas home near Decatur and Lone Mountain that doubles as a home-based daycare.

The three-year-old and a one-year-old were found in the pool. The one-year-old boy was not breathing and later died at UMC. Police say the older boy should make a full recovery.

"Pools are one of those things where often times, in the winter time, people can sometimes forget they're back there and this is just one of those things where parents, caregivers, adults in the home, everyone just needs to remember there is a pool in the backyard and try to keep children away from it," said Chrissie Coon with the North Las Vegas Police Department.

A gate separating the home from the pool could be seen from above the neighborhood, but police have not released how the two boys ended up outside and in the water. They also haven't said if the caregivers for the boys will face charges.

I can only say in all the years I volunteered with the rescue squad thank god I never had a child drowning. I've had plenty other ways children have died and seen my share of death.but to see the death of a baby or a child is heart breaking. It's not because I'm a female, the police officers and Firefighters there had hard times handling these calls as well. Sometimes you just want to shake these parents of the child and ask them "what the hell is wrong with them"? But we couldn't do that, the shaking part I did ask the questions though. If you have too many children and you can't watch all of them you need to say so. The laws are suppose to regulate how many children you can have anyway they  do in Virginia. If this is negligence then the daycare need to be shut down which it has been while under investigation.
