Child killed with acid injection by kidnappers in México
Death or life sentence for kidnappers has been considered in Mexico but not yet approved.
Kidnappers in Mexico City killed a five-year-old child by acid injection after discovering they were sought by police, local prosecutors say.
Four suspected kidnappers, including a woman and a 17-year-old boy who knew the victim's family, initially sought a $34,000 ransom after kidnapping the child on October 26, the capital's prosecutor's office said.
"When they found out they were sought by police, they decided to take the victim to a hill... where they killed and buried him," a statement said.
The child was killed with an injection of acid, it added.
The suspects were detained at the weekend after a tipoff from a taxi driver who had picked up one of them with the child and later alerted police after seeing a news report on his disappearance.
Official figures show there were 651 kidnappings in Mexico in the first nine months of the year, although experts say the figure could be two or three times higher because many cases go unreported.
Javier Morena, was the oldest child of a low income family that sells sliced fruit for a living in an ambulant market at Iztapalapa an low class zone to the orient part of Mexico City.
Javier was burried on monday.
" He didn't have to die like this, far away from his parents, if he had to go with God, that was not the way" said the minor's mother Laura Vega.
"I wish they could kill them, they have to suffer what my son suffered"

Thanks for the flag, I'm shocked to realize the magnitude of evil that can harm little innocent ones, using heartless people to do so.

This is unbelievable. Mexicans have always loved children so much. I am of Mexican ancestry and I have never known it to be otherwise. How could even the most evil person do such a thing to an innocent child? It seems as though the very character of Mexico is changing.
