Travellers landing at Indian capital New Delhi's airport have often complained of problems. Situation is slowly improving after a private company Delhi International Airport Limited took over the management of the airport. They have developed  a “child play area” for children in the security hold area at Terminal 1A of the airport.

Waiting at the airport here to catch a flight will no longer be a boring affair for tiny-tots as they can now enjoy playing at swings or climbing structures in the security hold area.Airportoperator,  Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), today dedicated a " Child Play Area" at security hold area of Terminal-1A of Indira Gandhi International airport for kids on the occasion of Children's Day."The Child Play Area has been professionally designed with safe climbing structures and other play equipment," a DIAL spokesperson said. The play area, with the airport related theme displayed on the flooring and carpets, will allow the kids to stretch their legs and have a good run around at the swings, climbing structures and other playing equipment."We will keep on changing the theme of ' Child Play Area' from time to time so that the little ones could explore new dimensions each time," the spokesperson said.IGI Airport would be the perhaps the first airport in India to open a " Child Play Area" and that too free of cost, he added.
