When you agree to be equal players its time to watch your back, this whole thing is about what China will let USA do.

The presidents of China and the US have agreed to work together to tackle some of the world's most pressing problems.

On climate change, Barack Obama said both sides agreed on the need for a comprehensive global deal in Copenhagen next month, not a political statement.

Mr Obama and Hu Jintao also agreed to push for North Korea to re-enter stalled talks on its nuclear programme.

But underlying tensions were referred to, with Hu Jintao calling for joint opposition to trade protectionism.

The two leaders held two hours of talks in Beijing's Great Hall of the People, on the edge of Tiananmen Square.

Both leaders then held a joint media event at which they read out statements, but took no questions from listening journalists.

I preempt this report with my opinion seen here...

Since the Second World War USA has battled with communism sometime its cold war battles have led to its own demise. From time from time USA has acted paranoid and gets it self muddled on the difference of socialism and communism.

But because USA made war on communism in fact its action led to the Soviet Union collapsing due to financial problems that led to it being practically bankrupt. One thing that US had missed is the way China engineered a win-win situation using capitalism and its greed as a tool to bring down capitalism in the free world.

Obama said China has helped the United States pull out of the worst recession in a generation. He said a revised economic approach will help increase U.S. exports and create jobs while helping bring about higher living standards in China.

Obama came to China seeking help with an array of global troubles. He and Hu sought to strike a balance between trading partners and competitors during Obama's trip to China during his Asia tour.

A day before, Obama prodded China about Internet controls and free speech during a forum with students in Shanghai. His message was not widely heard in the country; his words were drastically limited online and shown on just one regional television channel.

He also suggested that China, now a giant in economic impact as well as territory, must assume a larger role on the world stage — part of "burden of leadership" it shares with the United States.

Profound observation--they are playing chess, not checkers.
