Here is a good Post to add to this news since it is related and of the same family of Viruses and the research results on this will help control the H5N1.

Without Technology, this threat would run roughshod throughout the world - it needs to be kept in check.

If this Avian flu begins to catch fire, the quickest defense is to begin to wear N95 breathing respirators when traveling in public.

What is the difference between a bird flu mask and a bird flu respirator?

Bird Flu masks help prevent particles (droplets) being discharged into the environment by the wearer. They are not necessarily designed for filtration efficiency, or to seal tightly to the face.

Bird Flu Respirators are intended to help reduce the wearer's exposure to airborne particles (bird flu).
