A British woman teaching English in China has been deported.

Dechen Pemba, 30, from Tower Hamlets in London, believes she was forced to leave the country because she is from a Tibetan family and the Chinese government is 'paranoid about anyone spoiling the Olympics'.

She has claimed she was escorted on to a plane by plain clothes officers after eight secret police came to her Beijing flat as she was getting ready to go to a class.
