China mine blast leaves 43 trapped
In what can only be called Third Time the Charm, China seems to be hit once again with disaster as a Mine cave in has trapped 43 miners. It certainly seems the country of China is not getting a break from Mother Nature,
BEIJING - State media are reporting that an explosion at a Chinese colliery today has left 43 miners trapped below ground.
Xinhua News Agency reports that the explosives went off accidentally deep in the pit of the mine located on the outskirts of the city of Xiaoyi in the northern province of Shanxi.
It says 15 workers escaped the blast at the mine, operated by the Anxin Coal Mining Corp., which happened shortly after 1:00 p.m.
A state television report that aired four hours later said the condition of those trapped below was still unknown.

I think this is an important story and would benefit from other NowPublic contributors working on it. I've flagged it as News Wanted and invite others in relevant locations to look for more evidence.

Thanks everyone for your comments and GS flag, tragic as it is, China doesn't give up easily.
Mother Nature it seems has it in for China and the Midwestern US.
By the way as some may have noticed I have left Antarctica, as too many condoms floating around it's water, and distressed penguins everywhere in stillettos and frilly teddy's because of lonely Antarctic Researchers with Herring in their pockets, and have sailed around the Horn up the coast and now am safely moored in my 60 foot Schooner in Kits (ugh) so Vangroovy is my home for reporting for the time being.
Again, thanks for the comments,
