China quake toll 'nearly 40,000'

This is the latest news story featured at BBC news site, which says almost 40000 souls were departed from the world by the earth quake in China. From time to time there are several natural disasters reported from various parts of the world.
Myanmar and China are the two destinations which hardly devasted by cyclone and Earth quake, respectively.
Pray for the world survivilance from natural hazards.
The death toll from last week's devastating earthquake in China's Sichuan province has risen to 39,577, a local official has said.
The figure, given by Sichuan's vice-governor, does not include a few hundred dead in nearby provinces.
