Reverse sterilization for moms who lost children in China quakeAFPPublished: Saturday, June 07, 2008BEIJING - China has sent medics to offer reverse sterilization operations to women who lost children in last month's Sichuan earthquake but want to give birth again, state media reported.
Under China's one-child family planning policy, parents are allowed only one child in most cases and mothers are often encouraged to have sterilization surgery after giving birth.
However, a medical team is being dispatched to the quake-hit region to conduct a reverse-sterilization procedure on women who want it, the official Xinhua news agency reported on Friday.

Food crisis. Food aid for five years going on its second five years. Why should the US, who pays 40% of the food aid, be for more babies that will either get disease or starve to death. Humanity is not more starving diseased babies.
