The White House unveiled the menu for the State Dinner For Chinese President Hun Jintao Wednesday afternoon.  President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be in the White House State Dinning Room along with Chinese President Hu Jintao. A total of 225 guests will get to experience the State Dinner Menu in three rooms, the State Dining Room, The Blue Room, and The Red Room.

White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford and Executive Pastry Chef Bill Yosses created the menu; the Chinese delegation requested the All-American feast, according to the East Wing. They've got it, from sea to shining sea, with foods sourced from the coast of Maine to Washington State.

The lobster really wasn't from Maine. It was frozen and came from China.

Sounds delicious!  I love that they ended it with vanilla ice cream and apple pie.  Doesn't get much more American than that...
