Chip Reid And Helen Thomas Take WH Gibbs Down

Transparency, openness, townhall, open forum, staff communications, dissenting views, Gibbs snarky push-offs and giggling were all elements in this White House press corps Q&A briefing yesterday in anticipation of President Barack Obama's healthcare "townhall" style meeting scheduled for later in the day.

"The point is the control from here. We have never had that in the White House. And we have had some control but not this control. I mean I'm amazed, I'm amazed at you people who call for openness and transparency and have controlled..." veteran White House reporter Helen Thomas said Wednesday.

After the townhall meeting was held, it was discovered that ALL of the people in attendance were, IN FACT, hand picked Obama supporters and all of the questions were on some level, pre-screened.

One of the most poignant moments came at the last question when Obama scanned the crowd and "randomly" pick someone for the question ... this person, who it was revealed had Cancer during the course of the question, was planted by the event organizers and Barack Obama was in on the ... THEATER of the staging.

.. and the insults to everyone's intelligence keep on being delivered here in Carter's Second Term!

Shock and Awe. Gee Golly, staged questions. Not my President and his merry band of characters that get cheap loans from the very same companies they must decide their fate. No, that can't be from the democrats that are freedom loving and full of social concern for every minority they can undermine for their own self-aggrandizement.

This must be a psychic shock leading to amnesia and hysteria.

I know Chip Reid and Helen Thomas do not really mean it though.

There are way too many questions they could be asking that are better than exposing the fact that BHO is staging the healthcare fete!

Like why is it NOT meddling criticizing Honduras's move to enforce its laws but it is meddling to mention the killing of innocent citizens voicing their displeasure of the election process in Iran?

Meddling is in the eye of the beholder. Apparently, the socialist agenda just LOVES tyrants, dictators, oil sheiks, fools and those interested in assuring that their country doesn't get hijacked with the likes of Chavez the friendly neighbor .

Tikun, you're right. Obama and his 'ilk' love total power. And that is why they are against Honduras gaining it's independence, and that is why they are for S.819 (that calls for every person living with Autism to sign a voluntary registry and submit to having all of their movements monitored). ......... the text of the legislation is at Congress.gov ... Just search under bill no# S.819.... And that is why BO actually thinks he can get away with having PLANTS in his infomercial/press conference. If Helen Thomas is ever invited back to another press conference, I'll be surprised.
