Chris Christie vs Corey Booker: the Viral Video Version

Chris Christie may be Governor of New Jersey, but he plays second fiddle to Newark Mayor Corey Booker. This is somewhat predictable, since Corey Booker may actually be Batman.

Chris Christie's office has put together a rather funny video of Christie constantly getting one-upped by Booker, until a call comes from Mitt Romney...

One thing is definitely true: Corey Booker is not a background player, and it's kind of ballsy for Christie to take up that mantle so explicitly.  (Also, Corey Booker is a Democrat, and so would not get a phone call from Mitt Romney anyway, unless Romney was cruising through Newark and got a flat tire. Also, Corey Booker's position on gay rights makes him a non-starter in the Romney campaign.)

Chris Christie considered a 2012 Presidential run, but thought better of it: his stint as US District Attorney for New Jersey had some potentially dealbreaking scandals: his campaign would probably not have survived the prosecution deferment, misuse of office, or warrantless wiretapping questions that would have inevitably emerged.

The video below isn't bad: since it comes from an elected official, it can't avoid some flat bits, especially since it's a blatant bid for a phone call, but Chris Christie sneering into the camera and going, "... Booker!" is pretty funny.
