Christian Group in Texas a 'Party of God" which Harasses Town
“Repent Amarillo” is the name of an evangelical Christian group which is reportedly terrorizing the town of Amarillo, Texas.
The group targets a wide range of community members from gays, liberal Christians, and Muslims, to environmentalists, to various “spring break events,” and pornography shops; apparently in the belief that their theological rights and duties are threatened by such.
On its website, a “Warfare Map” names its adversaries in town.
A blogger by the name of Charles Johnson has called the group an “American Taliban because the group’s moniker “Army of God” is a rough translation of “Hezbollah.”
Led by a man named David Grisham, the group was catapulted to national media attention when it rallied against Houston's election of an openly gay mayor.
Hearkening back to the 1920s Christian "terrorists" who used to expose Reverends who had mistresses, the group began attacking a secret swingers club this past January.
According to a new exposé by the Texas Observer, Repent set out earlier this year to destroy a discreet club of swingers they discovered in town. On New Years eve, the harassment began, with Repent members, almost exclusively young men, showing up in military fatigues and bullhorns, blaring Christian music at the swingers’ club building. The swingers, made up of “regulars” of middle aged, working class couples, were then stalked at every following visit to the club. Repent not only took video of each member, but obtained the swingers’ license plates and dug through their trash, informing neighbors and coworkers of what was once private.

Yay west Texas! That is why I try and go no further than Austin. Oh the stereotypes based in and exemplified by that side of the state.

"The two phenomenon are related and semi-causal of each other. "
Yes, as Nietzsche said, both extremes "appear at the same historical hour, and owe their origins to the same causes." You speak like Nietzsche, Roy, as well as look like him.

I never claimed to be good looking. Being "better looking" is relative. No one ever accused Groucho of being a pretty boy.
Besides, when you wear fuscia, i think you look quite lovely.

I bet you if one took the law into there own hands against this hate group, they be arrested with all sorts of charges on them! Why? Because local law enforcement is scared of them or has joined in on this filth. There so called Christian tithings go to pay high class lawyers just like the Fred Phelps filth. Its my opinion that a bullet between there eyes is too good for these jerks. ITs civil war and our government will not protect us we have to do it ourselves. I hate these Christ fakes who think they are above all man kind.
