Christmas is close.....too close when you have a missing daughter

I know this is the time of year that everyone gets excited. Kids waiting for Santa, parents hoping to make it the best Christmas ever for the kids....but I just can't seem to get into the spirit anymore.

Christmas Day, December 25, 2005 was the last time that I ever laid eyes on my daughter Jessie. We still talked for the next 3 months 4 days.......but I have never laid my eyes on my beautiful daughter since that day. So, you can imagine, that takes the joy out of my Christmas and I am sure always will....until I find my Jessie.

As you all must know, but I will tell you for the ones reading this who do not.....my daughter JESSIE FOSTER is an international missing person (most likely a human trafficking victim). I last spoke to Jessie March 24, 2006, the last time her dad Dwight & stepmom Tracy heard from her was a voice message wishing Tracy a happy birthday on March 27, and the last time anyone we know heard from Jessie was when her older sister Crystal and her talked & text messaged each other over & over on March 28. We have not heard from her since.

We are now about to enter into the next year, closing in on 3 years since Jessie's disappearance and I am very grateful to the media for keeping Jessie's story in the news. THANK YOU, without you we would not be able to keep her face out there, her story there for others to hear and HOPEFULLY, to help any other young women (or men) from facing the same fate. We are grateful to you all.

I also wanted to mention a couple of the good things that have happened, because, stranger-than-strange.....there are still some very good, awesome things happening in my life and I am very grateful for everything I have got.

My daughter Jennee had her baby on the day after Christmas last year, she went into labour Christmas Day...this helps so much with me getting through this time of year. We just celebrated Maddison Louise's 1st birthday party yesterday (a bit early) and WOW, what a party. There was a ton of people there and Maddie was SPOILED - as she so deserves.

My daughter Katie & her man Jake are due to have a baby boy on December 28....unless he comes out early. For us, this is amazing, since I have 4 daughters and 1 granddaughter, we wanted a boy in the family very much.

For Christmas my 3 daughters, Crystal, Katie & Jennee will all be here with me...thank God for that. We will be all together just as we should be to celebrate Christmas and the birthday and birth of my grandchildren.

There were other good things this year, but I am sure I have messaged, posted, emailed and ensured that everything was sent out as they happened, so I will bring this letter to a close.

Thank you all, for your long-time, undying love and support. You all know how much I appreciate you all - and LOVE YOU ALL. My heart has grown so much with the help of everyone. God bless you and everyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR, from the family of missing Jessie Foster.

Sincerely & with go much love, Glendene, Jim, Crystal, Katie (Jake & JJ), Jennee (Catlin & Maddison).

PS: to my friends in the media - please, please, please - can you do a Christmas story about Jessie, you have no idea how many people contact me after they read about Jessie in your stories and they are all grateful to have see the articles. Unless you are in my email, on my Facebook, NowPublic, MySpace, blogs, etc, etc, etc....you would have no idea how many people I am talking about. As a matter of fact, many people, including myself, think of Jessie as "the most well known UNKNOWN missing person out there"! Thank you. CONTACT: 250-374-6137.

PPS: there will be a human trafficking story coming out in the Edmonton Journal next week with Jessie's story in it - I will let you all know when. Thank you FJ for writing it, I know you fought to get it done and I appreciate you very much for it.

PPPS: please, everyone, pray for baby Caylee Anthony, missing Christmas with her grandparents and uncle (sorry, but who cares about her mother). Caylee is now our angel for all missing children.
