Hayden decides to leave the Air Force Associated Press - April 23, 2008 11:13 AM ET

WASHINGTON (AP) -  CIA Director Michael Hayden will hang up his Air Force uniform for good in July.

The four-star general said today that he is retiring after 39 years in the service.

What a potential for conflict of interest, considering recent news about Retired Generals and other high military officers deliberately misleading the public on national media. Hayden has been the CIA Director since 2006.
