Cinco de Mayo Becomes Report an Illegal Day After SB 1070
The National Socialist Movement Has Declared May 5, Cinco de Mayo, 'Report an Illegal Day'
Thought by many to be a Neo-Nazi hate group, the National Socialist Movement has declared Cinco de Mayo to be 'Report an Illegal Day' and are even encouraging people to hand out copies of this flier promoting the event.
J.T. Ready, the spokesman for the National Socialist Movement told ABC15 that they are the 'premier white civil rights organization in the world' and they want people to fax, e-mail or hand out that flier and demand to congress that the border with Mexico be secured. They also want people to turn in businesses to DHS, ICE and the IRS if you suspect them of hiring illegals.
"We don't celebrate the Fourth of July down in Mexico, so we don't expect Cinco de Mayo to be celebrated here," said Ready while holding a large stack of the group's fliers.
This comes on the heels of the controversial passing of the Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070 but many residents of Phoenix were very angry after seeing the flier, calling it 'very offensive'.
"They're trying to do something like this on a day which is so special to us like Cinco de Mayo," said Phoenix resident Anna Duran.
There is now concern for some peoples' safety on Cinco de Mayo, even though it seems like most plans will not be changed, many are going to be on higher alert.
"It's really scary, it's not just for me, I have two girls who were born in this country," said Duran. "It's just not right, we are humans, we are people and we have feelings."
The police are aware of the fliers and have looked in to them, but J.T. Ready says his group is not breaking any laws, and that they have actually their member numbers jump.
"Our recruitment numbers are swelling," said Ready. "There are people coming forward who aren't scared to be called a name."
The group has said that they do not plan to demonstrate, just to hand out fliers in neighborhoods.

About time, send them all home and close down all employers that hire them. come on people what about illegal do you not understand. Treat all illegals as Mexico does. Fair is Fair. Gangs, grafitti and illegals belong in Mexico its their way of life.
