The Babel Fish

For many years I have been writing articles on every subject under the sun, I have never been a very good writer, but I do like writing and making people think. I have always tried to surmount my biasness and keep to a center point of view or at least what I thought to be a sensible one.

I know there are many people like minded concerning real citizen journalism. Of whom have had reason to adapt to the boring tedious daily seeding of news to become popular on news community web sites.  I have realized that now that I am popular that is my name is known, I have really no need to look for and seed news daily, I can now concentrate on writing well researched articles and publish them knowing they will be read.

There maybe other citizen journalist that also may need to make the same choice one day. That just like, me been going through this tedious daily seeding to gain more readership. Even debating or voting or recommending articles they have no real interest in.

In my case I have put the completion of two books on the back burner and even neglected my own local community site just to be popular. My aim is now to publish better quality well research articles possible one or two a month. In the hope that my news group popularity and the quality of the articles will still be well read.

Possibly it’s a gamble and that if ones not seen daily the quality of the articles will be missed. That it’s the popularity that rules on the news communities, it’s the gamble I am going to take.  As I am sick of seeding media related stories and having them voted on or recommended. As that’s all about luck of choosing the interesting stuff before someone else publishes the seed first.

On some news communities member’s articles are not separated from the seeded news, as the administration can not see that self creation is better than seeded news. That it can be much more interesting for debate.

Some news communities have no real idea what real citizen journalism's is about and I have seen the administration query a very good article because its not inline with the latest media related news.

Citizen journalism or news gathering?.

My answer is citizen journalism can be much more interesting especially when the articles research has been well carried out. It’s what I should be doing and not wasting my time on seeding. Hopefully others citizen journalist will follow my lead, I also hope that news community administrations will welcome all real citizen journalist articles and learn what citizen journalism is really about.
