Without any contact with Outside world, and suffering the brutal treatment by the LTTE leadership who lost every hope of survival and traumatized seeing LTTE taking their sons and daughters to send to the battle front so that LTTE can save their own rear, even civilians trapped in the remaining one square kilometer "Eezham" realized that LTTEs are going to be history soon. So many of them are escaping towards the advancing SLA and by this making huge holes in the LTTE's civilian human shield.
COLOMBO: Sri Lanka said on Monday more than 2,100 people fled a no-fire zone where the military expects to destroy the Tamil Tiger separatists, the first sign of an exodus that will make the job of ending the 25-year war easier.

The Sri Lankan military said it had killed at least 453 rebel fighters during a three-day battle that on Sunday took the final scrap of rebel-held land outside a coastal strip the army declared as a no-fire zone for civilians.

The United Nations says tens of thousands are being held as human shields by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), and has urged the military to protect them during a final offensive in the 17 sq km (7 sq mile) of coastal coconut groves.

You are welcome, Cypresso...!

I am really upset about the civilians who are condemned to die , caught between devil and hellfire. I hope many of them will be able to make it to safety.

What a Hypocrite!!!

Over 4,700 Tamils are killed with over 1000 children. The Sinhalese racism remained celebrating these deaths as Military victory alongside the Sri Lankan Government.

Why the current Sri Lankan Sinhalese Government is running the current war under strict media ban?

This is not a war on terror. It is a racist war on all Tamils

What we are witnessing, or should we say what is happening, in Sri Lanka - and what is being so effectively hidden from public scrutiny - is a brazen, openly racist war. The impunity with which the Sri Lankan government is being able to commit these crimes actually unveils the deeply ingrained racist prejudice that is precisely what led to the marginalisation and alienation of the Tamils of Sri Lanka in the first place. That racism has a long history - of social ostracism, economic blockades, pogroms and torture. The brutal nature of the decades-long civil war, which started as a peaceful protest, has its roots in this.

Why the silence? In another interview Samaraveera says that "a free media is virtually non-existent in Sri Lanka today". He talks about death squads and "white van abductions", which have made society "freeze with fear". Voices of dissent, including several journalists, have been abducted and assassinated. The International Federation of Journalists accuses the Sri Lanka government of using a combination of anti-terrorism laws, disappearances and assassinations to silence journalists.

There are disturbing but unconfirmed reports that India is lending material and logistical support to the Sri Lankan government in these crimes against humanity. If the reports are true, it is outrageous. What of the governments of other countries? Pakistan? China? What are they doing to help or to harm the situation?

Where have you been when the Sri Lankan Governments have been mass murdering Tamils? Where have you been when the Sinhalese Governments have killed over 100,000 Tamils in Sri Lanka in the last 60 years?

July 1983- 52 Tamil priconers massacred at Wellicata

July 1983 - 3000 Tamils killed mostly burnt alive.

15/5/1986 - 38 Tamils of Kumudhini boat passengers were masscred by SL Navy-Neduntheevu,Jaffana

7/9/1995 -  65 Tamils  massacred at refuges camp -St. Peter church - Navali Jaffana

10/9/1990 - 185 Tamils to massacred by stabbing at Sri Lankan Army Camp-Saththurukondan,Batticola

Hi Tamiya,

How are you doing? Hope that this week too you got your stipend from LTTE. Everything is fine, right?

Wow..! I had a real good sleep as many of my friends here in NP supported me - good people - to over come the pain I felt on seeing the photos.

As many times I have mentioned before, I really appreciate the LTTE training you recieved in pure venomous propaganda. Hit out when the enemey is vulnerable. Excellent philosophy it is - only problem is that the crushing defeat Sri Lankan Army going to hand it over to the terrorists would be much effective in intensity and magnitude because the terrorists do know how this tactic work. Tell Bhirapharan to have some nice time.

Anyway , I have removed your LTTE videos from My story.Keep it in some place where your fellow propagandans watch and enjoy.

Nice list you have compiled and posted in here. Would have costed you lot of time to filter out all the Sinhala and Muslim casualities , right? What software do you use to do that? Or LTTE propagand sites have any special tools to filter other casualites out or what? Good job though.

Keep posting such "Tamil" removing the names and numbers of Sri Lankans and Tamils killed by the LTTE terrorists. May be for the rest of your life if you wish to.

Moving to government-controlled areas is not an easy option for trapped civilians.

One woman who fled, Pakkiyavathi, said: "People take great risks to escape. They have to walk for days braving shelling. If [Tamil Tiger] cadres spot them they will fire at them.

"A few days ago more than 200 people tried to cross over to the government-controlled areas on their own. [Tamil Tiger] cadres fired at them, one was killed."
People think [the Tigers] are losing but many don't feel sad about this,"

And Then They Came For Me - Lasantha Wickrematunge's Last Editorial ( who was killed by the Sri Lankan Government January 8, 2009) The journalist was the editor for Sunday Leader and a freelance writer for the Times magazine. He is also well known by the Sri Lankan Government to write for the Government corruptions and Human rights violations in Tamils' regions.

What is more, a military occupation of the country's north and east will require the Tamil people of those regions to live eternally as second-class citizens, deprived of all self respect. Do not imagine that you can placate them by showering "development" and "reconstruction" on them in the post-war era. The wounds of war will scar them forever, and you will also have an even more bitter and hateful Diaspora to contend with. A problem amenable to a political solution will thus become a festering wound that will yield strife for all eternity. If I seem angry and frustrated, it is only because most of my countrymen - and all of the government - cannot see this writing so plainly on the wall.
