Why is the USA not helping the people of Iran get rid of this Islamic Dictatorship? Why does President Obama not acknowledge the Zoroasterian Iranian heritage and contributions to science, mathematics, art, architecture, poetry? Why does President Obama glorify Islam? Iran was Zoroasterian for 2000 years.Before the Arab invasion in 650 AD, the capital of Iran was in Ctesiphon, a grand city which was the center of learning, knowledge, science, medicine, art, architecture, etc... The Arabs invaded and destroyed Ctesiphon and its great palaces and murdered hundres of thousands of Iranians. The Zoroasterian Iranians were forced to convert to Islam and were used as slave labor to use the blocks of stone from Ctesiphon to build the new capital in Baghdad, an Iranian Village -- etymology of Baghdad is Persian word: Gift of God. The capital moved 40 miles north and all the learning and science of Iranians was then disseminated to Europe by the Arabs. This is Iranian science, mathematics, caligraphy, art, architecture. Why does our President Obama not recognize Iranian contribution to Islam. Even Ibn Khaldun, an arab scholar, recognizes that all the so called Arab muslim scholars were Iranian and only in name were muslim. These individuals include: Avicenna (an Iranian physician), Al Hazen/Al Haytam (founder of optics and theory of perspective upon which Brunelleschi developed the rules of perspective), Kharazami, Iranian mathematician, and many more.... Also, the Arabs ruled Iran for only150 years, afterwhich the Iranians re-established Iran's sovereighnty under the Bayd Dynasty - 10-11th century. Isn't it time for Iranians to be allowed to reclaim their heritage and discard this foreign religion, Islam and re-embrace Zoroaster?
