New CNN poll finds 76% of Americans disapprove of the job George W Bush is doing as president. No other president in US history has had higher than 70% disapproval, and Bush has done it three times this year; even Nixon resigned with a 66% disapproval rating.
President Bush is the most unpopular president since approval ratings were first sought more than six decades ago. Seventy-six percent of those questioned in the poll disapprove of how he is handling his job.

Also significant is that the Democrat-controlled 110th Congress is the most unpopular EVER. The fact they've done nothing productive, and failed to stop the Bush Administration's abuse of power or hold them accountable for any of their crimes likely has much to do with it.
