Code Red Health Care Rally: Tea Party Supporters Issue Code Red on Health Care or Obama Care and the Democrats
Tea Party activists took to Washington on Tuesday saying it is not too late to stop the Democratic health care bill which is dubbed by Tea Party supporters as socialized medicine and Obamacare.
The rally, dubbed the "Code Red Health Care Rally," featured a host of Republican speakers, including Reps. Mike Pence, R-Ind.; Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Tom Price, R-Georgia; and Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
"Kill the bill," shouted protesters, as a string of Tea Party leaders spoke out against the massive health care overhaul.
The number of people attending the Tea Party Code Red Health Care rally was questioned by Democrats with Code Red Rally organizers saying thousands while Democrats said it was mere hundreds. Democratic National Committee spokesperson Brandi Hoffine said that 'the air is out of the tea party balloon.'
Today’s dismal showing on Capitol Hill coupled with the turnout we’re seeing at health reform rallies across the country where supporters are outnumbering opponents by three to one and four to one clearly demonstrates that the momentum is squarely on the side of those who support reform.
Meanwhile a small group of Tea Party supporters marched to various offices of Democratic members and found mainly closed doors.

What Republicans are trying to ram down the throats of the American people is the continuation of the insurance takeover of health care, which is totally unacceptable. Your ramming down my throat your distorted view, that an insurance company bureaucrat should remain wedged between me and my physician, with the insurance company bureaucrat, not the physician, making my medical decisions is ridiculous. Republicans siding with insurance company profits ahead of the American people is unpatriotic and unAmerican. This is why, despite the fact that it does not go nearly far enough, that I support health care reform, and totally reject the insurance takeover of health care that Republicans want.

The Healthcare reform will wedge itself between you and your physician! You don't think the government will decide where you get to go when you need care? You think that this will be better? Go up to Canada and see how much they like it. Yeah sure the lazy people who don't want to excel love it! The government pays for everything! PROBLEM: I DON'T WANT THE GOVERNMENT IN MY BUSINESS!! I DON'T WANT THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLLING ANYTHING BUT THE MILITARY!!

You really bought that FOX, LIMBAUGH, GRASSLEY, BOEHNER, CANTOR talking point - do you have it tattooed to your hand or just on the brain?THE ONLY thing between YOU and YOUR physician is your insurance carrier. No one else and to believe anyone else is, is to be totally and willfully ignorant of reality. Health care insurance is the most corrupt concept there is in this nation today next to "Obama is a Kenyan" and "Socialist" (they vie for the honor of the stupidest belief).THE ONLY real way out of that mess of death panels by proxy via Wellpointe, Aetna, The Pru, et al, is for REAL reform - UNIVERSAL but then you have obviously bought the crap about "paying for everyone's health care" to go along with your snack of governmental take over of your healthcare..As you gorge on these stupid, fat brained talking points, your insurance carrier is bleeding you dry and will have killed another 122 people today, added more people to the roles of uninsured and without medical attention and laughed all the way to the bank...So go right on believing your fantasy...You will get hit with reality before 1014...Very hard. It could be as your carrier rapes you by raising your rates between 100 and 300% in the next 4 years so they can continue to do what they want, as they find ways NOT to cover you for your medical needs and when they finally drive you out of your home by dumping you AFTER you had months of treatment then they tell you they won't cover any of it sticking you with thousands...hundreds of thousands in medical bills to save your life or a loved one's life.60% of all; bankruptcies in this nation is due to just that type of action by those caring insurance companies...Most foreclosures and much of the homelesssness as well..But go on...keep telling yourself otherwise...that way you won't worry yourself into a stroke for which you may not be covered, a heart attack that isn't covered

@ Matt 3165, the vast majority are either somewhat satisfied or very satisfied and the even vaster would not trade it for the US (actually more said they would rather trade it for the European which I think do it better than both of us). I can tell you watch Fox News where they try and find some of the minority and act like they speak for all (funny how most studies also show that Fox News viewers tend to be among those of the very uninformed XD). So ya, come up here and you'll find that most of us love it. Secondly ours is a single payer system which is technically not government owned. I'm sure you as of right now know very little to nothing about our healthcare system.I would become a lot more informed before you talk about things you know nothing about and would strongly suggest looking outside Fox News. Just a suggestion ;).

Hey John Murphy: If you're unhappy with your insurance company, leave it and seek a company that suits your needs...that are about 1400 of them across the country. If government controls health care, you'll only have one place to go...the government. We all know how that works out when we want them to redress our grievances...they don't.
