Colgan Air Makes Statement On Continental Flight 3407 Crash

Colgan Air, the company that operated the Continental Flight (3407) that crashed outside of Buffalo, NY last Thursday,killing all 49 on board and one on the ground, made its statement in a full page ad in the Buffalo News today.

Colgan Air's statement read in part, "We have been overwhelmed by the tireless efforts and generous gestures by literally thousands of you."

"From first responders to other members of the safety forces, from social service volunteers to government and community leaders, and everyday citizens. You have helped everyone through an extremely difficult week, and we are most thankful."

At 10:20 pm tonight, local church bells will toll 50 times for each of the 50 victims who died as a result of the crash of Flight 3407.  Read more, here.
