I was reading through this article of the author's surmising about Colonel Williams possible ties to rapes comitted in Dubai, Camp Mirage where he was stationed. He wondered if there was any tie to Corporal Downey's death. The part that catches my attention is “six months as the Commanding Officer Theatre Support Element — Camp Mirage (December 2005 – June 2006).” The family's comment at the bottom of the article of how that investigation went blows my mind.
