A man was killed in a stabbing at Comfest in Colombus, Ohio.
Medics arrived to treat a man who suffered five stab wounds to the chest. The victim, 18-year-old Bryan Barbin, later died in hospital.
Witnesses say that two young men in their early 20s who appeared to be acquaintances were fighting at Goodale Park in Victorian Village.
Police say a suspect is in custody, arrested not far from the location of the incident.

I hadn't seen him since graduation, until a week ago, last saturday I randomly bumped into him at a mutual friend's house. I also sat next to him in homeroom in high school.

I went to college with him freshman year.... we hung out quite a few times. He was an extremely nice and caring person. I'm still struggling to come to terms with the fact that he's gone. He will be missed.

Bryan was a very good friend of mine. I saw him just a few weeks ago when i left college. He was my roommate for all of third quarter.. Shit sucks ... It just is so wrong to go so young..

My heart and prayers go out to Bryan and all who knew him.
I think the story of his being on "mind altering drugs" (yet no one has identified which supposed drugs inquestion) is possible -- particularly at such a venue. But 4-5 "self-inflicted" stab wounds?
No way am I buying it.
