The French president does more than give lip service to supporting the troops.
Sarkozy's stock went up in my opinion due to this video. It is nice to see a Western president who is not afraid to be seen in public honoring the troops on their final return to their home. He knows he sent them there and they are due that honor.
It is a shame all other Western leaders do not have the same respect for the military and the sacrifices made those in uniform and their families.
