The elite in each country and nation of the world mostly have obtained ill gotten gains to obtain a step at the top of a leadership ladder. Some like Hitler have rode on a political fanatical system to gain power, money and a top of the ladder position.

In the USA the elite are still applying the methods of a lost age, of buying into a position of power and they also use backers that will plow money in for favors that will make them money if an when their candidate gets into power.

The nastiness that comes from elitism is when those that wish to have complete power over the nation’s citizens and even to the extent of want to build a large empire. The worst the likes of Hitler seal their own end because of greed. The likes of Stalin actual get away with it and even when dead hero worship takes over.

The word democratic has took on a new meaning when it comes to politics it means in this modern world of ours every body has a vote and a say, but the elite have the power and the reap the corrupt benefits of being in power. The so called democratic systems have been set up to benefit the elite and not the citizens.

Those at the very top of the elitist ladder have the power to send citizens to war for their own gains. Politics, deceit, propaganda, religion and false patriotism is, their tools to get the most of their fellow citizens to do their bidding. The education system is also used as a patriotic tool indoctrination is best started in a citizens young years.

Around the World groups of elitist are involved in an international global chess game, this game has been played for many centuries. Some political elitist clans have been playing this game for generations it’s the way these families have made money and gave their off springs a better elitist chance of succeeding. Many of these political clans in differing nations work hand in glove with those within a more powerful nation.

The problem with some governing systems is that they are too easily used to place despots in to power in the USA there is little choice of whom becomes the president and its normally the one that has more money invested in him or her that will be placed in the seat of power.

Despots like Bush can easily obtain power and wield criminal intent to make money for themselves and other cronies by starting oil related wars. They have a large military might that they can use after fooling the citizens and the World to think its all in a good cause. Then walk away without being put on trial and punished for their sins. They have the protection of their fellow elitists.

When such a despot put the country in complete disorder the elitist opposition are then voted in and get the chance of moping up the mess but the despot is never placed on trial and of course it’s a case of just another bunch of elitist feeding out of the pigs trough. There is of course honor amongst thieves (elitist). The win win situation for theses elitist they will always be in power and the citizens are always used by them.

The sad thing is us the non elitist have no real other option other than trust the World, our love ones and our lives in the hands of people that are striving to make money and gaining power for them, their elitist friends and of course their love ones (that’s if any one really loves them).

However it’s really a case of luck and fate that keeps many people out of harm that these greedy and corrupt elitist can and do create.

Plato predicted with much accuracy that things could never go well when humans govern themselves, but there must be governance or the world would be even a more evil place to live in.

I see your point. I studied Latin America in grad. school. One of the sociologists I read was Gino Germani. He wrote about the elites in Latin America, specifically Argentina. Argentina, founded before the U.S., has had a longer-standing elite. But yes, now there's an elite in the U.S. too.

The elitist have always been present even back in Plato's time, Rome spread its own brand of elitism through out its empire, then the European empires continued the movement Imperial Britain being one of the worst offenders of setting up elitists through out its empire. USA shrugged off one set of elitist for its own brand that even preferred the Roman/Greek system of governance because it allowed much more access for corruption. Plato stated clearly that the senate based system was ideal for corruption.

In the USA you have republican elitist and democratic elitist all wanting a piece of the large apple pie. Its been that way for centuries there is nothing new about it other than the improvements of the involvement of international corporations with elitist influences world wide but mainly from Europe and the more richer nations.

Dont forget the Kennedys.JFK gave us Vietnam killing over 58,000 Americans and possibly millions of Vietnamese.And people still consider him a good President,when that could the farthest from the truth.Let's not forget that the majority of politicians both DEM and REP are elitist and wealthy.Try seeing your Congressman or Senator without having alot of $ and see how far you get thru the door.Unfortunately our so called representatives in Washington DC are in a caccoon and are so out of touch with the working man/women they treat us as kids instead of grown ups.They live in Ivory towers while we suffer.If 9-11 had to happen it might not have been such a bad thing if two of the jets had hit the House and Senate wiping out all these corrupt windbags,letting us start new elections and ridding us of all the carreer politicians,some who have never even held a real job other than politics.Oh well,hopefully Usama bin Laden can take care of that for us.

Point.., and full marks. In most of the countries the common man (women too , for feminist's sake, lol ) think exactly in the same lines about their ruling elite. But that is the ideal scenario, in a perfect world.

Lol..I don't want to be political correct. However the swastika story goes like this.

But since the Nazis use of the swastika, some people are trying to differentiate the two meanings of the swastika by varying its direction - trying to make the clockwise, Nazi version of the swastika mean hate and death while the counter-clockwise version would hold the ancient meaning of the symbol, life and good-luck.

Mine is a good swastika ;)

As soon as people accept God as ruler of the world, and follow Gods rules, then we could, if not eliminate, greatly reduce corruption. Plato was right !
